In this article :
Family
A product or item category (for example: CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES)
Generic item
(or Invariant Article "IA"): A generic item that corresponds to a set of requirements and is attached to a family. These items are abstract and are not products that are referenced and can be ordered as is (for example: MINI SPOILER ON TRACK 3.5T).
Supplier item
("AF") : A specific article that can be ordered from a supplier. These supplier items can be attached to generic items. (For example: 3.5T LOCSTAR B12 mini crawler excavator, yellow colour, reference LOC1234, price 456 euros per day).
Supplier Catalogue
A list of supplier items, with references, descriptions and units, which can be ordered from a single supplier (for example: LOCSTAR 2021 vehicle catalogue).
