Setting up the approval circuit - Project level
The terms used in the article below correspond to iSYBUY. To find iBAT equivalents, click on this link.
Setting up an approval workflow on a project enables you to control the order validation workflow before the order is sent to the supplier.
The approval process can be applied to standard orders (items from catalogues), free-entry orders (items from the "free-entry" option) or purchase requisitions, depending on your company's configuration.
Accessibility :
The approval paths configured can be applied to all iSUYBUY users with the right to place orders (CMDCAT and/or CMDHORSCAT).
Project approval path settings are reserved for users with "ADMIN" or "ADMIN_ACHAT" privileges at "Project" level.
Company approval circuit settings are reserved for users with "ADMIN" or "ADMIN_ACHAT" privileges at "Company" level.
The approval path is governed by the commitment threshold defined in each user file.
In this article :
- Operation without any option
- Operation of the "Start at level 1 approver" option
- Operation of the "Start at commitment level higher than that of the requester" option
- Operation of the "Stop at sufficient commitment level" option
- Operation of the "Forced approval circuit regardless of applicant's commitment" option
- How the "Inform the last level approver(s)" option works ?
- Operation of the "Priority to route" option

If you tick this box, in the case of a mixed order (free-entry item and supplier catalogue) you must choose which approval path should be applied first: standard or free-entry.
Notes :
- The approval path is triggered according to the total amount of the order. It does not take into account any associated shipping costs.
- If no approval path has been defined at project level for an order type (for example for free-entry) and no approval path has been defined at company level either (still for free-entry), then for safety reasons iSYBUY will automatically follow the approval path defined for the other type, if there is one (i.e. that for the standard order, for example).
