Requiring a consulted company to attach a technical data sheet for the items selected when responding to a consultation.

You have submitted a consultation but you need certain technical data sheets in order to make your choice from among the suppliers. You can make this compulsory. If the supplier does not meet this requirement, he will not be able to submit his offer.

How to force a company to attach a technical data sheet ?

The first step is to click on "Consultations" (1) and then on the consultation of your choice (2).

Then click on "Modify the request".

Then simply tick each of the item rows in the "FT" column for which you want to force the company to add an attachment.

Note :

If you move your mouse cursor over the "F.T" column icon, a tooltip will appear explaining the purpose of this column.

As soon as you tick a box, a pop-up window will appear telling you the consequences of ticking that box. You can click on "Don't show again" if you don't want it to appear.

Once the settings have been made, what does the supplier see ?

When responding to the consultation, the company being consulted will be able to visually identify the lines for which a data sheet is required, as the corresponding cells are displayed in red.

If suppliers click on "Submit your proposal" even though they have not added the required attachments, a pop-up message will appear on their screen telling them that they cannot continue.
