The steps to follow to publish an e-catalogue or to benefit from the attachment of items in a comparator
The terms used in the article below correspond to iSYBUY. To find iBAT equivalents, click on this link.
In this article, you'll find out about the various steps you need to follow to publish your supplier catalogues, whether as an e-catalogue or attached to generic items, in order to benefit from the comparator.
In this article :
- Publishing an e-catalogue
- Linking items in the comparator to the iSYBUY segmentation
- Linking items in the comparator to your group's private segmentation
Publishing an e-catalogue
Start by uploading your completed supplier catalogue to iSYBUY, and filling in the supplier information form. Once this has been done, you can send an email to support@ibat-solution.com to inform the Data team that you have just submitted a catalogue, and you can send us your instructions. Within 2 days of receiving your email, iSYBUY will acknowledge receipt of your request and inform you of the agent assigned to load your catalogue.
We then carry out a level 1 analysis of your file (file format, level of data completeness). There are 2 possible outcomes :
- The file you have sent us is compliant : we publish the prices in the e-catalogue. If you have chosen the "Catalogue as comparator" option, we will also start linking the catalogue items to our generic items.
- The file you have sent us is not correct : we will inform you of the problematic elements, and we invite you to send us the file once this information has been corrected. Once we have received the new file, we will start analysing it again.
Linking items in the comparator to the iSYBUY segmentation
On receipt of the file, we inform you of the target date for the end of the comparator period.
Within 8 weeks of receiving a compliant file, we carry out a level 2 analysis of your file (data quality, references, unit inconsistencies, etc), and attach the items.
We will inform you once the catalogue has been attached and published.
Linking items in the comparator to your group's private segmentation
For groups benefiting from the private segmentation option, it is still possible to request that your catalogues be compared. To do this, you need to send us your template, indicating for each line the ID of the generic article to which it should be attached.
On receipt of the file, we will inform you of the target date for the end of the comparison process.
Within 6 days of receiving a compliant file, we carry out a level 2 analysis of your file (data quality, references, unit inconsistencies, etc), and attach the articles.
We will inform you once the catalogue has been attached and published.
Note :
The time taken to publish a catalogue in the comparator varies according to its complexity and the number of supplier items to be attached. It should be respected in almost all cases.
If we are unable to meet this level of service, you will be informed as soon as possible so that we can agree on a new publication date.
Do you have any other questions we haven't thought of? Send us your request at this address. We look forward to hearing from you!
