There are 2 ways of loading images, technical data sheets and EHSFs. You can either download, complete and then reload the Excel template, or copy/paste the URLs of the item sheets from your merchant site.
Option 1 : Download, complete and reload the Excel template
First of all, download the Excel file and complete it to insert the images and technical data sheets. The photos (1), data sheets (2) and EHSFs (3) are added in columns J, K and O.
Important : You must enter the name of your image in this format: folder/name.extension
Example :
If I create a folder called "images" on my desktop, and I add the 5 photos (in JPEG or PNG format) that correspond to my 5 article lines, I would indicate the name "images/shovel.jpg" for the shovel line.
Similarly, columns K and O for loading data sheets and EHSFs can be filled in in this way.
So, if I have a folder called "technical sheets" on my computer desktop containing my correctly named technical sheets in PDF format, all I have to do is complete the file as explained above.
Then, once the file has been completed, create a new folder on your desktop containing :
- The Excel upload file
- The folder containing the photos of the items
- The folder containing the technical data sheets
- The folder containing the EHSFs
Then close this window, and right-click on the File >Send to > Compressed folder.
When my file is properly compressed, a zip appears.
Option 2 : Copy/paste the URLs of the item sheets on your merchant site
If you already have a merchant site that details the items you offer, with images, EHSFs and technical data sheets, simply right-click on each item and enter the information directly into the loading template.
You then need to load this compressed folder into iSYBUY. There are two ways to do this :
- Either drag and drop your file into the upload area (arrow)
- Or click on the "Click here to choose file" button and select your file from your document manager.
Once your file has been downloaded, it will be displayed as shown below.
We advise you to check that the data you have entered is correct (watch out for column shifts, etc.). If the file is correct, you can click on the "Publish price list" button. Once you have clicked on the "Publish price list" button, a validation message will appear indicating "Price list published".
Your catalogue is now published, and you can find it in the list on the left of the screen.
