Responding to a pricing request

You have received an e-mail from an iSYBUY customer requesting a personalised price list. We invite you to go to your dedicated space on ISYBUY, where you will be able to find it easily and reply.

How to respond to a request ?

There are several ways to find the price list :

  • Either by clicking on the notification bell at the top right of the screen, which should show the number of requests awaiting your response
  • Or by clicking on Rate requests from your home page

This will take you to the Customer Requests area, where you can decide to :

  • Validate the request, i.e. give it a favourable response
  • Refuse the request, i.e. inform the customer that you do not wish to offer them a price list, but you will still be able to respond to their requests for specific quotes.
  • Send an email to discuss the matter directly with the customer before confirming or rejecting the request and responding to it.

How to create a price list ?

Once you have validated the request, a pop-up window will open.

You will then need to complete all the fields shown so that you can find the schedule easily later :

  • Name of the price list (1): for example "Customer X price list".
  • Default family (2): this is the family of products/items making up this price list
  • Valid from date (3)
  • Valid until date (4): if this field is not completed, the price list will be valid until someone within your company modifies it.
  • Public rates (5): keep the green tick if you wish to make these rates public to all future customers.
  • Scope of rate publication (6): allows you to choose the customer(s) who have requested a rate from you and to whom you wish to share this same rate.
  • Currency (7): currency in which the prices of items/products/services are denominated.

Important :

  • Make sure that "Public rates" is unchecked, otherwise you won't be able to choose the customer scope to which you want to assign this price list.
  • Only customers who have already sent you a pricing request via iSYBUY are available in this drop-down list.
