Setting up exchanges via a "Message Box" with the supplier
The terms used in the article below correspond to iSYBUY. To find iBAT equivalents, click on this link.
When the supplier receives an order, he can use the dialogue box to communicate with the requester. This feature can be useful for specifying certain information about the goods or delivery times, for example. The comment is then visible in the dialogue box, and automatically triggers an email to be sent to the recipient.

How to communicate with a supplier using the "Message Box" ?
The first step is to go to the "Receive" tab (1) and then click on the order of your choice (2).
At the bottom right of the screen is a "Message" box. Click on it.
In the pop-up window that opens, you can write a message to the supplier. The message appears in blue when it has been sent.
The supplier immediately receives an e-mail specifying your name and company, the number of the order concerned and your message. There is also a button to view your message directly on iSYBUY.
Notes :
- The number of messages is unlimited. However, we would like to make it clear that this is not an instant discussion tool but a tool for brief exchanges.
- Only the initial requester of the order and the supplier's sales contact are automatically notified by email when a message has been sent via the Message Box.
However, the last approver in the approval process can also take part in the conversation by clicking on the order.
