How personalised (or private) segmentation works ?
The terms used in the article below correspond to iSYBUY. To find iBAT equivalents, click on this link.
Private segmentation allows you to see your purchasing families rather than the one proposed by iSYBUY on the "Order" page. By editing your own families, you'll be able to use them in your catalogue attachments and find them again when you place your order.
In this article :
Impact of a segmentation change
There are two possible types of segmentation, and switching from one to the other has an impact on your users and your internal organisation:
- Switching from public to personalised (or private) segmentation : Public segmentation families will be deactivated and will no longer be available to your users.
- Switching from personalised to public segmentation : Personalised segmentation families will be deactivated and will no longer be available to your users.
How to change your segmentation ?
The first step is to go to the "Management" tab (1) and then "Purchasing family" (2).
On the page that appears, you will see on your right the segmentation that you currently have (1). At the bottom of the page, you will find a visual of this segmentation (2).
Note :
Here you can see the iSYBUY public segmentation that you automatically have in your space. The visual will of course be different if you have opted for a personalised segmentation.
You can change your segmentation by clicking on "custom segmentation" or vice versa, depending on what you currently have (3).
If you ever want to opt for a personalised segmentation, the first thing to do is click on "personalised segmentation" and then on the term "template" or "example file" in order to download the document to be completed.
Once the template is open, all you have to do is complete it, following the instructions and advice given !
When it's done, click on "import".
Then click on "Publish".
The new segmentation will then appear on this page and in the "Order" tab!
Note :
In the "Purchase family" tab, you can add an image to the different families in your personalised segmentation to make it more attractive. Simply go to the category and click on the pencil at the top right of the new family.
All you have to do is add it and click on "Send" for it to appear !
