How to place an open order ?

Open orders are particularly useful when the quantity to be ordered is approximate (for example, when ordering concrete). The aim is to define a fixed unit price with the supplier, to be applied regardless of the quantity ordered.

Changing the order type when accessing my shopping cart
The first step is to add items to my basket and then go to the checkout.
In this example, I need to order 10 x 25kg bags of ready-mix concrete, which I add to my basket. In the shopping cart, you can already change the order type.
Then click on "Continue to the next step".
Changing the order type in the final step
You will then be redirected to the last step before confirming your order. If you would like more information on the previous stages, please read the article on this subject, which can be accessed via this link.
If you have not already done it before, it is essential to select the appropriate order type.
In this case, select "Open" from the drop-down menu that appears when you click on the arrow. Then click on "Finalise order". Then simply enter your validation key and click on "Finalise order", and the order will be sent to the supplier (or will follow the approval procedure, depending on the parameters you have set).
