When renting equipment from a supplier, it may happen that weather conditions prevent you from using the machine as planned. In such cases, you must inform the supplier so that he can avoid billing you for unused rental days.
In this article:
The supplier does not charge for bad weather
The first step is to go to the "Receive" tab (1), and search for the order of your choice. Then click on "Receive" (2).
Receive the actual quantity of rental days on the item line. We invite you to specify the reasons for your quantity in the "Comments" box provided. This will help the supplier to understand the amount displayed.
Supplier charges reduced rate for bad weather
Note :
Normally, this is already anticipated when you place your order, where we advise you to add a line item for bad weather, with a quantity equal to zero. However, if you didn't anticipate this when you placed your order, you can always add an item line manually when you receive your order.
As with the previous procedure, you need to go to the "Receive" menu and click on "Receive", which you will find at the end of the line of items to be received. Then click on "Add a line on receipt".
Once this line has been added, simply enter the number of days of bad weather deducted.
Note :
By default, in this case iSYBUY considers that there are still items to be received. To ignore the message and close the reception, please click on Cancel backorders.
